On June 15, the ShanghaiRanking Consultancy, a leading higher education evaluation organization, released the 2026 Chinese University Subject Rankings. NJUCM has once again achieved outstanding results in subject evaluation: three subjects rank No.1 in Chinese Mainland, six subjects are rated A+, and both the number of No.1-ranked and A+ subjects are the highest among all universities of Traditional Chinese Medicine in China. All 25 participating subjects were successfully listed in the ranking, showcasing continuous improvement in overall educational quality and core academic competitiveness.

According to this year's results, the number of our A+ and A-level subjects has increased to 12, now accounting for 48% of all evaluated subjects — a sign of further expansion and steady upward progression in our high-quality professional development.

NJUCM's advantage subjects continue to lead in this year. Elderly Care Management and Natural Resources of Chinese Medicinal Materials and their Development have retained their No.1 positions thanks to a strong foundation of discipline building. Pharmaceutical Manufacturing of TCM made a new breakthrough, rising to first place in the Chinese Mainland. Pharmacy of Chinese Materia Medica and Science of TCM Health Preservation both climbed to second place, joining the A+ category. Science of TCM Rehabilitation remains among the top subjects, continuing to hold the A+ rating.

These achievements demonstrate the university's deep academic strength, distinctive educational characteristics, and continuously advancing talent cultivation capacity.
