NJUCM Approved for First International Cooperation Base Project by the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Recently, the National Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine (NATCM) announced the results of the 2025 international cooperation projects. The application submitted by Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine (NJUCM) for establishing the Asia-Africa-Latin America International Education and Training Base of Traditional Chinese Medicine has been successfully approved. This marks the first time NJUCM has received approval for such a project.


The base will be operated in cooperation with partner institutions and organizations from Egypt, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, South Korea, Brazil, Chile, and other countries across Asia, Africa, and Latin America. It aims to build an international TCM education and training platform for Asia, Africa, and Latin America, enhance the capacity for international student education in TCM within China and overseas, improve the quality of local talent cultivation in these regions, and promote the global dissemination and application of TCM. The project also seeks to strengthen TCM exchange and cooperation within the Global South.



Currently, NJUCM has been approved for four national-level overseas TCM cooperation centers and one international cooperation base, establishing itself as a key platform for international exchange and cooperation in education, talent cultivation, scientific research, and clinical medicine.
