On July 23, a delegation from NJUCM, led by Director Guan Xiaowei of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges, visited the Chinese Embassy in Egypt and met with Ambassador Liao Liqiang.
The delegation introduced NJUCM’s collaborations with Egypt in TCM education, research, clinical service, and cultural exchange. NJUCM signed a strategic cooperation MOU with the Egyptian Association for Traditional Chinese Medicine (EG-TCM), paving the way for deeper cooperation in acupuncture training, appropriate TCM technologies, clinical service systems, and cultural outreach.
The delegation also held fruitful talks with Benha National University, Menoufia University, and the Egyptian Chinese University, reaching consensus on joint institutes, labs, Confucius Institutes, TCM curricula, and faculty training.
