The Activity of "Exploring Traditional Chinese Medicine - Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Promotion Day" event, part of the Jiangsu - Lancang - Mekong Cooperation Day series of activities, was held at our university.

On April 18th, the 2024 Inquiring about Traditional Chinese Medicine - Traditional Chinese Medicine Culture Promotion Day and the Seminar on the Development of Traditional Medicine in Lancang-Mekong River Countries, which was guided by the Foreign Affairs Office of the People's Government of Jiangsu Province and hosted by Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, was held at the Xianlin Campus of our university.

In the welcome speech, Guan Xiaowei briefly introduced the highlights and characteristics of our university's work in the internationalization of traditional Chinese medicine under the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation mechani**. He hoped that in the future, relying on the Jiangsu-ASEAN Talent Cultivation and Exchange Base for Traditional Medicine, we could continue to strengthen the cultivation of traditional medicine talents, build platforms for traditional Chinese medicine medical treatment and health services, and deepen the partnership. Nguyen Duc Minh stated that the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation mechani** had further promoted and consolidated the development and achievements of traditional Vietnamese medicine, and enhanced the well-being of the people in the countries along the river.



The event invited professors from our university to conduct activities such as the experience of traditional Chinese tea culture, the teaching of Baduanjin, a traditional Chinese medical exercise, and a lecture on the tendon acupuncture therapy in traditional Chinese medicine. These activities attracted more than a hundred doctors and students from Thailand and Vietnam to participate both online and offline.



In the future, our university will continue to work hand in hand with the countries participating in the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation. We will shape the brand effect of Jiangsu Lancang-Mekong River Day, explore new fields and address new needs. We will ensure that the achievements of traditional Chinese medicine cooperation inject new impetus into the development of the Lancang-Mekong Cooperation mechani** and promote the construction of a community with a shared future among the Lancang-Mekong countries to go deeper and more solidly.
