On November 1, 2019, at the opening ceremony of The Higher Education Expo China, Prof. Hu Gang, Vice Chair of Jiangsu Provincial Committee of CPPCC, President of NJUCM delivered a speech on behalf of the Jiangsu Provincial Government. In his speech, Prof. Hu pointed out that bring in the national brand of Higher Education Expo China to have an expo at the very household of Jiangsu Province, which is not only a historical responsibility and mission that the Jiangsu Higher Education cause faces up with, but also a necessary step and effective test that the Jiangsu Higher Education has to go through for its exploration onto the modernized development with high quality, moreover, a fast track for Jiangsu Province to embrace the achievements of S&T and industrial reform, and to upgrade the traditional teaching method and administrative style. Jiangsu Province will definitely grasp the Expo as an opportunity, taking the Expo as a bridge to build up openness, collaboration, win-win and sharing, in the principle of mutual trust, mutual assistance, and mutual benefit, to deepen the communication and exchanges among higher education, to broaden the innovation and collaboration in political, industrial, academic and research fields, to add new vitality to build a “Strong, Affluent, Beautiful, and High-level” New Jiangsu Province with excellent quality in higher education.
