NJUCM Six Projects Awarded 2018 Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Prize
Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Awarding Ceremony was held in Nanjing. Six projects from NJUCM received the 2018 Jiangsu Provincial Science and Technology Award, with two second-prizes and four third prizes respectively. The project of “Creation of the new theoretical and technological system of promoting blood circulation by removing blood stasis and its application in drug discovery for Chinese medicine” led by Prof. Lu Yin from School of Pharmacy, and the project of “Promotion of combined Chinese medicine with collagen key technology in tissue repair and its application” led by Dr. Yao Chang from affiliated hospital received the second prize. The project of “Research on somatotropin-based Chinese medicine-IGF-1 to the radiosensitization therapy of rectum cancer” led by Dr. Wu Xiaoyu from affiliated hospital, and the project of “Stem cell’s theoretical foundation in the population and intervention of thyroid nodules” led by Dr. Liu Chao from affiliated hospital of Combined Chinese and Western medicine, the project of “Research on the early diagnosis, Chinese medicine prevention and treatment for large intestine cancer” led by Dr. Jin Heiying from the second affiliated hospital, and the project of “Inheritance and innovative application of Ding’s Chinese medicine treatment for IBD” led by Dr. Zhang Sumin from affiliated Nanjing TCM hospital were awarded with third prizes.
