NJUCM Entering in 2018 Nature Index Ranking
Recently, the Nature Index updated the latest Nature Index ranking for 2018. For the first time, NJUCM enters the list with the 927th place among global universities and the 153rd place among Chinese mainland universities, making itself the top Chinese medicine university domestically along the ranking.
The Nature Index was firstly launched in the November of 2014, and currently is widely considered as a significant indicator for assessing the levels of academic achievements for research institutions. In the ranking of 2018 top 200 China mainland universities released by the Nature Index, the “Double First-class” universities and non “Double First-class” ones make up almost equal proportions. There is a total of 99 “Double First-class” universities entering the list. For “First-class Disciplinary Construction” universities, there are only 58 universities included in the ranking. For Chinese medicine universities, only NJUCM and Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine enter the top 200 China mainland universities.
