Prof. Wang Xinghua, male, Han, born in Pizhou city in Jiangsu province in July 27, 1951. He is currently in tenure as a secondary professor of Nanjing University of Chinese medicine (NJUCM) and a Doctoral tutor. He was selected for the initial "Talents Project" in the national first and second level of seven ministries and commissions such as National Ministry of Personnel, and enjoyed special government allowances of the State Council from 1997.
Prof. Wang graduated from the Department of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1977 and worked at NJUCM as a teacher hitherto. He received a master's degree in 1986 and a doctorate in 1992. He successively served as the secretary of the league general branch, the secretary of the party branch, the first president of the graduate student union, the director of the teaching and research office of golden typhoid, the director of department of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) clinical base, the members of the academic committee and teaching committee of NJUCM, etc. He tought treatise on febrile diseases, internal medicine of TCM, the basic theory of TCM, diagnostics of TCM, traditional Chinese pharmacology, thesis writing of TCM, etc. for undergraduate and graduate students, foreign students and other students of all levels, and guided more than 70 master and doctoral students. He completed more than 20 scientific research tasks of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Science and Technology Commission Foundation of Jiangsu Province, etc. , published more than 300 papers, more than 10 works as the chief editor, more than 80 works as deputy editor and autonym. He served as the chief editor of the 7 volumes of Zhang Lu Medical Encyclopedia and 30 volumes of The Ming and Qing Dynasties Medical Encyclopedia, and served as deputy editor of 28 volumes of The World of Traditional Medicine Series and 12 volumes of The Chinese Medicine Prescription, the chief editor of World Traditional Medicine Geriatrics and The world of Traditional Medical Epidemiology, senior editor of Journal of Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, Journal of Chinese Medicine and Journal of Wisdom and Health, etc.
