Engineering Research Center of Normalization and Standardization of Processing of Chinese Materia Medica was established in 2009 upon the approval of the Ministry of Education. Research directions: (1) research into the theory and mechanism of processing of Chinese Materia Medica; (2) research into the attenuation and security appraisal of processing of Chinese Materia Medica; (3) research into the quality standard normalization and processing common-technology of TCM decoction pieces; (4) research into relevancy between processing and TCM compound clinical efficacy.
