Research directions: (1) research into the appraisal methods of empirical formulae of famous doctors; (2) research into the action mechanism of empirical formulae of famous doctors; (3) research into the efficacy evaluation of empirical formulae of famous doctors; (4) research into the material basis of empirical formulae of famous doctors.
