Key Lab of Efficacy and Safety Appraisal of Chinese Materia Medica of Jiangsu Province was established in 2008 upon the approval of the Department of Science and Technology of Jiangsu Province. Research directions: (1) establishment of the appraisal methodology and system of efficacy and safety of Chinese Materia Medica; (2) research into the normalization of efficacy and security appraisal of Chinese Materia Medica; (3) exploring new drugs with Chinese independent intellectual property rights from the traditional Chinese medicine.
