The Research Institute and SchoolofIntegrative Medicinehas been successfully established in NJUCM. The Founding Conference has invited academicians, senior officials from the provincial government, presidents from Chinese Medicine universities, and overseas alumni representatives to witness the ceremony. Prof. Gu Xiaosong, an academician, the former President of Nantong University was appointed as the Dean of the research institute and the school of Integrative Medicine, which is the first institution in China focusing on the education and training for a nine-year doctoral program in Chinese medicine. Students in the program will not only learn Chinese Medicine but also be equipped with modern life and health science knowledge and research approaches with aim to address the health challenges facing mankind.
