Martial Arts Popularization Project, a volunteer service project started by students and teachers of NJUCM in 2007, aims to popularize basic martial arts among primary students in the neighboring communities, with a special attention on children of migrant workers and disabled kids to help them build up their body and confidence as well as enhancing their awareness of traditional Chinese culture. The project has been well received in the communities and was included in 2014 Jiangsu Top Ten Volunteer Service Projects.
