TCM Pediatrics in NJUCM to Set Seventeen Items of Standards in National TCM Standardization Project
The discipline of TCM Pediatrics in NJUCM will draw up 17 items of standards for TCM medication standardization project, released by SATCM last December. The project included 254 items of TCM clinical guideline editing and 136 items of TCM treating future disease standards editing. 11 items of the former editing and 6 items of the latter went to TCM Pediatrics in NJUCM, making it become the discipline with the most editing items. The national TCM standardization project has been a key mission of SATCM in recent years with aims to regulate the medication, research, education and internationalization in the field of TCM.
In July 2012, TCM Pediatrics in NJUCM set up Diagnosis and Treatment Guideline of Common Disease in TCM Pediatrics, and was authorized by SATCM to publicize nationwide, as the only evidence-based clinical guideline of TCM. Now the guideline has been recognized as the most excellent one in the existing clinical guidelines of nine major TCM disciplines.
