School of Nursing in NJUCM Becomes “Training Base for Aged Care Professionals”
The Chinese Social Welfare Association (CSWA) under the National Ministry of Civil Affairs has been establishing “Training Bases for Aged Care Professionals” nationwide, with an aim to cultivate well-trained professionals to satisfy the growing demand of senior care. School of Nursing in NJUCM has been chosen as one of the training bases after rounds of inspection and appraisal from CSWA, and has signed collaborating agreement with CSWA. As the increasingly aging population has brought tremendous challenges for economic and social development, governments of national and provincial levels attach growing significance to the section of senior care.
