NJUCM and IBCAS Signing Strategic Collaboration Framework Agreement
    
On the afternoon of August 6, 2019, Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine and Institute of Botany Jiangsu Province and Chinese Academy of Sciences (IBCAS) signed the strategic collaboration agreement in the IBCAS. The two parties will establish long-term strategic partnership in the filed of talents training, education, research, resource sharing and social service.

IBCAS Director Xue Jianhui extended sincere welcome to the NJUCM delegation led by Prof. Cheng Chun, Chair of NJUCM Administrative Council, and Prof. Hu Gang, President of NJUCM. IBCAS Director Xue Jianhui introduced to the NJUCM delegation of the general development of IBCAS, and expressed that the two parties will actively build a collaboration mechanism of joint construction, sharing, parallel development.

During his speech, Prof. Cheng Chun congratulated on the strategic partnership, expressed that NJUCM will grasp the excellent opportunity and amass resources from every side to build up its first-class university construction. The both parties share the similar geological location and have conducted exchanges for a long time. The signing of the strategic partnership will bring out more fruitful collaboration in the future.

On behalf of respective party, NJUCM President Prof. Hu Gang and IBCAS Director Xue Jianhui signed the strategic collaboration framework agreement. The both parties will follow the principle of resource sharing, parallel development, mutual benefits, and joint development, targeting the key areas of joint postgraduate education programs, research cooperation, resource sharing and faculty sharing. The establishment of the strategic partnership will be included in the NJUCM’s first-class disciplinary construction blueprint. The two parties will keenly explore mechanisms that will be conducive to the innovation, resource sharing, technology transfer, which will earnestly enhance the contribution of both parties to local economic and social development.
